In short, please can someone tell me what english translation of the Bible I can purchase for my very first Bible, and where can I get it from? Background: I'm a new convert into Christianity, and am afraid to be miss-led. I'm suspicious of the King James version, and the Scofield reference Bible, but what can I trust?
