It was also the day the third and last FISA warrant on FBI informant Carter Page expired.
FISA is the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
The warrant was used to illegally surveil 30,055 American citizens, according to a federal court ruling.
By signing the treaty in Ukraine, the FBI was hoping to exempt itself from U.S. law.
And avoid the legal problems generated by using an American citizen, Carter Page, and falsifying a warrant stating he was a Russian spy.
In other words, the FBI was illegally using Ukraine as a base to spy upon American citizens.
It is still going on through the U.S. Embassy in Kviv, Ukraine.
